Blue is the color of calmness and peace. It draws in and intoxicates. The strength of this color is as a rule underestimated. It creates precondition for deep reflection about life, calls to find the meaning and truth, it calls for not sensual but rather spiritual impressions.
Paint should not be applied to a concrete basement floor until the concrete has aged for at least a year. The floor should be dry when painted, the best time for application being during the winter or early spring (assuming there is some heating apparatus in the basement), when the humidity in the basement is low. In general, three coats of paint are required on an unpainted floor, and the first coat should be thin to secure good penetration. After the paint is dry, it should be protected with a coat of floor wax.
Feel free to email me if you have questions at the email addresses below. But most important, you'll find that with each painting you'll get better and better. Carry forward everything you learn from each work and eventually you'll have real talent! But only if you keep at it. And don't worry about people telling you you're crazy. They told that to van Gogh too! Sweet justice Vincent, sweet justice. He's certainly getting the last laugh, isn't he? And the world will know who Vincent van Gogh was for the rest of time. Not a bad gig.
Pick a brand you can trust Companies with their own high-street shops, such as Fired Earth and Farrow & Ball, and those that sell through the DIY giants are the most accessible. However, buying paint online is increasingly popular and can bring you a wider choice, especially if you live outside major towns and cities.
Congratulations! You now have everything to determine your Season. If you are Warm and Light you are a Spring. If you are Warm and Deep you are an Autumn. If you are Cool and Light you are a Summer. If you are Cool and Deep you are a Winter. Congratulations, You are One of Four Seasons.
The reality is that the guys shooting paint, even at the cheapest shops, know how to do it. They spray a dozen cars a week and have plenty of practice laying down smooth, consistent coats of paint. They work quickly and efficiently because they have to or they don't make money. They don't really make their money on shooting paint. They profit from body work because it takes time and insurance work because it pays well.
Another idea keeping Paint Brush moist until the next paint coat is applied (but not leaving for extended periods) is leaving Brush in container, wrapping top with plastic, sticking handle out the top, and taping around the can. This resembles the Maxwell House Coffee Container mentioned earlier. If plastic and masking tape is still not available, and time between coats is not very long, take that sopping wet rag, draping over the top of paint bucket with Paint Brush still in it. This technique works best when using Latex waterborne paints.
